My Victory

The last song I wrote for 2011... I honestly can't think of anything that would better sum up my year. It was the biggest and best yet, and it came with many victories... Reconciled relationships. Steps of faith. Dealing with depression, fear, self-sufficiency, and condemnation. God won a lot of major battles that were going on in this little heart.  And a week before Christmas, as I was reading through my old notes from I & II Kings class (2 Chronicles 20, people----it's a gem), this happened.... God spoke (with a melody, as He typically does with me), and He reminded me of all that He has done and all that He will do so long as I continue claiming my victory in Him----not myself, not my parents, not my friends. 

He is My Victory, now and forever.
